These Terms & Conditions apply to ticket purchases, registrations, attendance and participation in Future of Events events, including conferences, summits, forums, workshops, masterclasses, networking events, digital events, partner events and any other event operated under the Future of Events brand.
Future of Events is operated by Pink Caviar Projects Pty Ltd trading as Pink Caviar Events.
In these Terms & Conditions, “Future of Events”, “we”, “us” and “our” refers to Pink Caviar Projects Pty Ltd trading as Pink Caviar Events. “You” refers to the ticket purchaser, registered attendee, guest, participant, speaker, sponsor, exhibitor, supplier, partner or other person attending or engaging with a Future of Events event.
By purchasing a ticket, registering for an event, attending an event, submitting attendee information, or using the Future of Events website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
For questions about these Terms & Conditions, please contact us at info@futureofevents.com.au.
1. Event information
Each Future of Events event will have its own event details, which may include the event name, date, time, venue, format, speakers, agenda, ticket price, inclusions, catering, accessibility information and any event-specific conditions.
Event-specific details will be published on the relevant event page, ticketing page, registration form or event communication.
If there is an inconsistency between these Terms & Conditions and specific terms published for a particular event, the event-specific terms will apply to the extent of that inconsistency.
2. Ticket purchases and registrations
All ticket prices are listed in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.
A ticket or registration is only confirmed once payment has been successfully received and a confirmation email, ticket or registration confirmation has been issued.
You are responsible for ensuring that all attendee details are accurate at the time of booking.
Tickets must not be resold, transferred for commercial gain, or used in competitions, promotions, giveaways or bundled offers without our prior written approval.
We reserve the right to cancel tickets or registrations that we reasonably believe have been purchased fraudulently, unlawfully, in breach of these Terms & Conditions, or through an unauthorised sales channel.
3. Ticket inclusions
Ticket inclusions will vary depending on the event and ticket type purchased.
Inclusions may include access to sessions, workshops, networking activities, catering, event materials, digital content, recordings, sponsor activations or other inclusions specified on the relevant event page or ticketing page.
Unless expressly stated, tickets do not include travel, accommodation, parking, transfers, meals outside the stated event inclusions, personal expenses, insurance or any other costs associated with attending the event.
4. Refunds, cancellations and transfers
Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind, personal scheduling conflicts, failure to attend, travel disruption, illness, or other circumstances outside our control, except where required under Australian Consumer Law or otherwise agreed by us in writing.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
If an event is cancelled by us and is not rescheduled, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price paid, excluding any non-refundable third-party booking, transaction or payment processing fees where permitted by law.
If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your ticket will automatically transfer to the new event date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund within 14 days of being notified of the new date.
If we make a major change to an event, you may be entitled to a refund or other remedy as required by Australian Consumer Law. A major change may include a substantial change to the event date, location, core format or the cancellation of the main event program.
Speaker substitutions, agenda adjustments, session changes, minor timing changes, room changes, sponsor changes, exhibitor changes, catering adjustments or other operational changes will not automatically entitle you to a refund where the event is still substantially delivered.
You may request to transfer your ticket to another attendee by contacting us at info@futureofevents.com.au before the event. Transfers are subject to approval, ticketing platform requirements, and any transfer deadline stated for the relevant event.
5. Event changes
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to an event where necessary, including changes to speakers, facilitators, agenda, session times, venue rooms, event format, sponsors, exhibitors, suppliers, catering or other event elements.
We will take reasonable steps to notify ticket holders of material changes using the contact details provided at registration.
We are not responsible for travel, accommodation, parking, transfer costs, lost income or other expenses you may incur in connection with attending an event, except where required by law.
6. Entry requirements
You must present a valid ticket, registration confirmation or other approved proof of registration to gain entry to an event.
We may request identification to verify your ticket, registration details, age, concession status, organisation, guest status or entitlement to attend.
Entry may be refused if your ticket is invalid, duplicated, altered, obtained through an unauthorised channel, or if your registration details cannot be verified.
You must comply with all venue rules, event staff instructions, security requirements and applicable laws.
For safety and security reasons, bags may be inspected upon entry.
7. Behaviour and safety
All attendees are expected to behave respectfully and professionally towards other attendees, speakers, facilitators, sponsors, exhibitors, venue staff, suppliers and event staff.
